Overview of Facilities:

The Men’s and Ladies Centre’s enjoy prime locations less than 20min from Pretoria central in Gauteng. Both facilities provide a tranquil farm atmosphere, removed from the hustle and bustle of the urban lifestyle.  Students are housed in typical “school hostel” like accommodation where there is continuous interaction with peers, leaders and management.

 

Each student receives individualised care and a personal evaluation of progress and “readiness” for finishing the programme is communicated back to the sponsors.  Sponsors are also welcome to stay in one of the appointed chalet’s spending time and celebrating the success of the students.

HR Tunnels

House Regeneration consists of (2) main facilities.  Each of these facilities are geared towards the student’s specific needs during the different phases of their recovery.

At the Men’s Side, we received sponsorships to install gardening tunnels.  This project, under the supervision and management of Thomas Alester  and his team, is flourishing and if gives off the Master Chef feeling by having to go to the tunnels to reap fresh harvest.

    House Regeneration – Boys

    Breaking away from the “drug rehab” mould we provide a healthy and progressive environment in which men can develop their rolls as kings and priests in the world out there. This is facilitated by caring discipline structure, one-on-one counselling and solid teaching of Gods word.

    Besides the accommodation units the following facilities and activities can be found at House Regeneration:

    • Lecture Facilities
    • Big-screen projectors for praise and worship and weekend movies
    • Gym facilities, Including daily Fitness and PT classes
    • Swimming Pool
    • Various Braai Area’s
    • High Care Areas (TLC) (They are self-contained lock down facilities – see more about them in our “The Program” page
    • Well stocked tuck shop that carries everything from chocolates & sweets to toilet paper & gym supplements
    • Veg garden
    • Various games (Pool table, table tennis  etc.)

    Ladies Centre

    Our dedicated ladies house is focused on helping woman who have suffered from addiction and bondage.  To re-discover their dignity and  build a solid identity in Jesus. We also offer handy life skills classes that our future princesses can use in their lives and homes in the future.

    The girls also look after Saanen Milk Goats, milking them every day and using the milk in the dishes they prepare.  They also look after the chickens and harvest all the eggs laid.  A diverse range of activities.

    The Tunnels and Fresh Produce

    We received a sponsorship of five (5) tunnels and students were trained in developing skills regarding agriculture.

    Thomas Alister and his team has successfully rotated a seasonal crop ranging consisting of Salad Greens and basic vegetables for use in the kitchen.  Now we can feel like Master Chef, having to go to the tunnels to harvest fresh produce every day.

    The team, under the care of Thomas Alester looks after the tunnels and the kitchen can harvest daily fresh produce, such as:

    • Various Salad Greens
    • Beetroot
    • Spinach
    • Tomatoes
    • Rocket
    • Basil
