Rehabilitation of substance abuse

If you or someone that you know is struggling to overcome substance abuse then you’re not alone. Substance abuse in South Africa has been on the rise for many years now and recent statistics show that around 1 in 10 South Africans suffer from substance addiction.

Substance abuse doesn’t necessarily mean addiction to illegal drugs; it can also include prescription medications and other easily accessible substances.

An important part of the rehabilitation of substance abuse patients is for the person suffering to understand why it is that they’re addicted. At House Regeneration our successful treatment program looks at how underlying issues can affect your thoughts and actions to cause addiction.

Our faith-based treatments are delivered by experienced and qualified professionals who will get to the core of each person’s mind to help them understand what is causing their destructive behaviour.

Faith-based treatment program

Faith-based treatment programs like the one that we offer are usually more successful than secular treatments because they cover three different levels of treatment rather than just two. Faith-based treatments treat the soul, body and spirit, whereas secular treatments only treat the body and soul.

Substance abuse can cause serious health problems, both long-term and short-term, and can be extremely difficult to overcome. No matter how hopeless you or a loved one’s situation may seem we can offer hope, guidance and rehabilitation.

Our faith-based treatments have supported many people through addiction and helped them to find the strength that they need to overcome it through faith and the teachings of the Bible.

SCRIPTURE IS ALL YOU NEED

CHRIST SETS YOU FREE FROM ADDICTION

GOD IS THE ULTIMATE THERAPIST

BELIEFS DRIVE EMOTIONS Most Christian psychologists agree with the premise that it is our beliefs that drive our emotions and then our actions. REBT begins […]
