THE LIGHT WITHIN
EPHESIANS 1:17-18 “[17] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, [18] enlightened eyes of your understanding, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling and which the riches of the glory of His inheritance among the saints is;”
When we speak, are our words, words of strengthening, comfort, and encouragement? Are our words, words of life, wisdom, and revelation in the knowledge of God? When someone was in conversation with me, were they encouraged, and do they have more hope for life after my words?
My words show how I see and approach life. Do I see the solution and light in every situation or do I see the problem and darkness in every situation. From what light do I see?
LUKE 11:34-35 “[34] Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness. [35] See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.”
JOHN 12:46 “I came as a light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me would not remain in darkness.”
JOHN 7:38 “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture says: streams of living water will flow from within him.”
Do my words bring life?
JOHN 12:46 “I came as a light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me would not remain in darkness.
David says in PSALM 19:15 “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer!”
Let’s look at every situation in God’s light, then we will have hope. Only in God’s light we will see the Light in every circumstance. PSALM 36:10 “In Your light we see the light.” Remember God has good plans for you JEREMIAH 29:11 “For I know what thoughts I have regarding you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a hopeful future.”
Walk in the Light today and speak life.
