GOOD DEEDS AND WORKS

TITUS 2:7-8  “[7] And in all things show yourself to be an example of good works, with purity in doctrine [having the strictest regard for integrity and truth], dignified, [8] sound and beyond reproach in instruction, so that the opponent [of the faith] will be shamed, having nothing bad to say about us.” We must be an example in what we think, do and say. In other words, we must be people of integrity.

A person with integrity is honest, sincere, trustworthy, incorruptible, and virtuous. When we are led by the Spirit, we will bear the fruit of the Spirit and we are then people of integrity. Make sure that we also act out of Love as love is described in 1 CORINTHIANS 13  “Then we will be unselfish, not seeking our own interest.”

PHILIPPINES 2:3  “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves.”

That is how Jesus is.  Let’s choose to be people of integrity.
