BE PATIENT AND TRUST GOD

ROMANS 8:25  “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”

GENESIS 16:2  “so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.” Abram agreed to what Sarai said.”

In 1 SAMUEL 13, Saul prepared the sacrifice that Samuel had to offer himself, because Samuel was late according to Saul. Just after Saul offered the sacrifice, Samuel was there. Because Saul did not wait for Samuel as God had determined and offered the sacrifice himself, God deprived him of the kingship.

When Sarah and Abraham thought that God was not fulfilling His Word in His way that He said, they made a plan and Ishmael was born. In God’s time Isaac was born, and to this day Ishmael is a problem for Isaac.

What we do from the flesh will always be an obstacle to the working of the Spirit. Therefore, we must be patient and wait on God. With Lazarus, Jesus was four days late, but still on time.

HEBREWS 11:1  “Faith then is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

PROVERBS 23:4  “Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.”

Therefore, stand in faith, trust in the Lord in all of your ways. Trust in God, obey His Word. Don’t depend on your own cleverness. Our own plans and impatience many times is the obstacle for the fulfilment of God’s plan in our life.  Be patient.
