Nothing beats the power of experience as both a teaching and learning tool. Jesus himself was a teacher and a learner as were many of the disciples, prophets, and leaders in the Bible. King David says in Psalm 32:8:

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”

At House Regeneration (HR), we teach, instruct, and counsel through experience. HR is based on the total renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2) and through the washing of the Word of God. All our work is underpinned by God’s loving word and His power. Our Biblical Therapy teachings are the core to our structure and success.  These teachings references real life situations so to impart our experience in the most accessible and practical way.

Everybody at House Regeneration has faced the confusion, struggle, and pain caused by drug addiction. Many front-facing members of the team have experienced the cravings, desires, and hardships that go hand in hand with all addiction problems. Some might even think that addiction took them to Hell’s doorstep and it is only the power and love of Jesus Christ our Savior that can result in true rehabilitation. and Having harnessed the power of these real-life experiences, House Regeneration empowers and supports the individual by supporting individuals through Biblical Counselling and a structured program.  Ultimately it is only Christ that can break the chains that bind them to drugs.

House Regeneration is different from most other drug rehabilitation facilities. Students experience an all-encompassing drug rehab programme, and not a quick fix. The negative experiences of the past are molded into positive ones, meaning that students are successfully freed from the chains of drug addiction, and are able to transition back to life outside the HR facilities with confidence and wisdom. It is experience that makes House Regeneration different from the rest.

The Lord’s hand is over everything at House Regeneration. Students regain control of their lives, saying a permanent farewell to their old ways and welcoming a new life blessed by God. While the road to recovery is not easy, when people at House Regeneration come together, share their experiences, and apply a personal touch to one another, this marks a new beginning in life. King David writes in Psalm 16:11:

“You will make known to me the path of life

In Your presence is fullness of joy

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.”
